Introducing Workdek Partner

Workdek has added a second route for operators who want to offer the system without taking on a franchise. It is aimed squarely at businesses already working on building sites.

Until now there has been one way to work with Workdek: a franchise, with an exclusive territory and the Workdek brand.

That suits people who want to build a business around it. It suits less well the operator who already runs a scaffold, netting, fencing or site services company — who has the trucks, the crew, the relationships and the site access, and wants to add a line rather than start a second business.

Workdek Partner is a licence rather than a franchise. You keep your own business and your own name, and trade with the Workdek Partner endorsement alongside it. The territory is non-exclusive, defined by your registered office or main operating base.

It sits deliberately alongside the franchise network rather than in competition with it. Licence territories are set back from existing franchise boundaries, and the product is differentiated by colour.

Why now? Because the demand has moved ahead of the network. Workdek operates in five regions and every other New Zealand territory is available. Scaffold companies in particular are already having the working-at-height conversation with every builder they deal with — and increasingly those builders are asking about prevention rather than arrest.

Both routes are set out on the Partner page, including how to request the prospectus.
